25 Years of Expertise

Technicentre Plus, a division of Belron Canada Inc., started out in the car radio repair business in 1977. A first agreement for repairs to GM radios, struck in 1982 between ACDelco-GM and the repair centre, put the company on track to becoming the business we know today.
From Radios to Instrument Clusters
In 1989, the company launched a new line of business by becoming the GM instrument cluster reman centre for dealerships in Quebec and the Maritimes.
The following year, Technicentre Plus became an official division of Autostock and moved to its current location in order to better serve a booming market.
New Horizons
1991 was a key year for business diversification at Technicentre Plus. After months of R&D effort, it began production of ProTG, a pioneering anti-theft system. Today, Technicentre Plus is still considered a leader in the anti-theft industry.
ACDelco Radio Super Center
Recognition by ACDelco and GM of Technicentre Plus craftsmanship and
know-how was crowned by the company's nomination as Radio Super Center
in 1993.
A new agreement confirmed the status of Technicentre Plus as the exclusive authorized GM radio repair centre in Eastern Canada. This made Technicentre Plus the sole Canadian repair centre authorized to work on both GM radios and instrument clusters.
From Production to Distribution
April 1999 marked the start of a new business for Technicentre Plus – distribution. The company became the direct distribution channel to retailers both for locally produced anti-theft devices and for all accessories required to install them. To achieve this meant implementing an order and delivery processing system for over 140 Quebec retailers.
New Products
With a constant focus on customer satisfaction, Technicentre Plus has an eye on the latest in-vehicle entertainment products. In 2001, the company installed the first mobile video systems. Pursuing the same goal, Technicentre Plus began distribution of the Audiovox line of auto accessories. Retailers can now call upon a single supplier for cruise control, alarm and navigation systems.
